It's been a while since I read this series. The whole thing was good. I am not sure what the purpose is over stopping at smaller books then continuing the story to a regular novel length. I have actually noticed that a lot these days, a trending issue if you will, books are leaning towards less than 250 pages, which is quite short. If anyone has an answer to that I would be glad to hear it!That being said I love this idea, the world that Ms. Lane built, the details she uses to paint us a picture. And I love Cassie Hart. This is just as good as the ones that came before it, and since I finished the series, yes the rest are just as good as well.
*Ms. Lane, if you ever see these notes we leave about your work, I would suggest getting another level of editing. Once again there were several typos and grammatical errors. One or two in a book is fairly common, but I hesitate to go further because every volume of your series has an above average amount of editing issues.

Cassidy is in and out of trouble and survives more than probability would suggest possible but the author keeps making it believable.
Wow. That's what I think about this latest installment. I really like how desolate it all seems and interested in how it will end. I'm at the edge of my seat for the next one!

Wow. Another great installment of this series. Summer Lane did a wonderful job in character development and the story as a whole. Each book keeps getting better and better. I can't wait for the next book.
For me, this has been the best book in the Collapse Series. I constantly found myself hurrying through what I was reading just so I could see what was going to happen next. This one is definitely a page turner. Cannot wait for the next one! This really leaves ya hangin'!
I stumbled across this author by accident and I'm so happy I did. I started with the Zero trilogy and was hooked. She is an amazing author with well developed characters and an incredible way to submerse the reader in the post apocalyptic world Omega created. I suggest buying them as a set you won't be disappointed. One warning. You will suffer from a book hangover when your done reading.
I'm sorry, but unless I get desperate, this will be the last book that I read in this series. It's so depressing. And boring. Yes, okay there is action, but there's always something. And she has this horrible relationship with Chris. It used to be good, but it's not anymore.
I skimmed most of this book. Sorry, but it has lost its allure for me.
I found myself getting really frustrated with Cassidy while reading this book. Yeah, she’s been through a lot and of course war changes people. Her need for revenge, I can understand. I don’t know If the hero worship has gone to her head or If she’s just an incredibly selfish person. She’s constantly doing what SHE wants, no matter what anyone else thinks. She’s always talking about working together as a team but doesn’t want to when it clashes with how she feels or what she wants. I also found it incredibly frustrating how they can’t seem to get it through their heads that Omega is everywhere, especially Cassie. When she goes to talk to a prisoner about new intel they have, I couldn’t believe she could be that stupid. Tell them you know a secret of Omegas and let them get word back to Omegas leaders. No matter how much she is lauded as a leader, she is still just out of her teens. Young and dumb. It’s hard to care about her when she doesn’t seem to care about anything but winning anymore. Yes, winning the war is great but what’s the point if you’re just going to be left alone and bitter afterwards? What are you fighting for?
