I have read many books on Egypt and Giza, and yet the author presents new discoveries and amazing observations about aspects of Giza that have never been recognized or written about. A Review of Temple’s Egyptian Dawn

Warning!--Why must deceivers try to change history? They have a motive. This is not a political paper, so Temple’s motive will not be discussed. His historic fiction, however, will be corrected as seen below.

Below are Temple’s two, brief descriptions of Northern and Southern Egyptians.

The People from Northern Egypt were
“’Invaders’ from the North who crossed the Mediterranean Sea”; they were
“Nordic--White—Blue/eyed--Blonds—A Dynastic Race--Megalithic Builders;
“Pyramid Builders—Libyans—Europeans--THE MASTER RACE.”

Whereas, the People from Southern Egypt were
“Negros; Pre-dynastic; Undefined people; of Unidentified, Unknown
origins; We don’t know who they really were or where they came from;
They were a Mysterious, Strange Civilization, who built like Chimpanzees”

Caucasian Egypt Revisited, The Scourge Persists

In the past, whenever our fore fathers migrated to a new land, instead of trying to reinvent the wheel, the wise would first look to nature to see how the native creatures had conquered nature. Then they noticed there were predators and their pray, carnivores and herbivores. When pests--such as mosquitos--bug their host, it shoos them away so as not to be distracted from what they are trying to accomplish.

Around the world, when ancient Africans ventured to a foreign land, rather than invade and conqurer, they joined the residents. They traded with their hosts and helped them build a joint civilization together; case in point, the creation of the Olmec empire. Africans did not come in as conquerors, massacring and enslaving their hosts. Africans did not force the conquered people to convert to their religions and make them ashamed of their own.

This is what we must do to opportunists who try to steal something from us, especially our history, for example. The likes of Mary Lefkowitz (who wrote, “Not Out of Africa,”) and (“Bell Curve” originator) Dr. William Shockley's of this world will try to mis-educate us; but the wise will find a way to shoo these pests away to find another to pray upon.

So here we are again, being attacked by predator-pests trying to steal our history. The latest violator this time is Robert Temple, author of Egyptian Dawn.

Temple’s Homepage says

Temple is Visiting Professor of the History and Philosophy of Science at Tsinghua University in Beijing. For many years he was a science writer for the Sunday Times, the Guardian, and a science reporter for Time Life, as well as a frequent reviewer for Nature and profile writer for the New Scientist (Temple, R. Temple has some compelling ideas in his book that he gained from his trip to Egypt’s Giza plateau. While there, he somehow gained unparalleled access to a few of the sites at Giza. There are several areas where he introduced fresh, new ideas that make his book interesting. One such idea stated that, “all of the conventional Old Kingdom dating are ‘a bit too recent” (Temple, R. (2011) Egyptian Dawn, p. 228. Arrow Books, United Kingdom).
In that regard, his book is very interesting because of the of the information he gathered. Of special interest is his use of new tools such as a new dating procedure that seemed to be helpful, but unfortunately, later appeard to be “untested.”

This 514 page book is a treasure house of new, cutting-edge information and tools. Unfortunately for all of us, it is tainted by a singular but unforgiving old theory that was “put to bed,” years ago. Yes, Temple has resurrected its poisonous head spewing misinformation and outdated, dismantled theories. Unlike his other current material, there is one particular theme that dates back to the very beginning of the 19th century. The use of dated data sticks out like a thorn in a rose bush.

Book Theme
The story presented in this book, essentially, attempts to embrace and unify traditions concerning the origins of Egyptian civilization; the construction of the pyramids of Giza, and the builders of Stonehenge (Ibid, p. 15.)

The Race Question
In 1914 “Douglass Derry studied the skulls at Saqqara and compared them with predynastic skulls from the south. He discovered they were drastically different, so different in fact, that they came from a different race of people altogether” (ibid, p. 274). So he asks, “Who were these people?” Temple picked Petrie, an early 20th century anthropologist to answer this burning question for him. “It is the subject that came to be called the ‘Dynastic Race’ originated by Sir Flanders Petrie.” So who was this Dynastic Race” (ibid, p. 274) as opposed to the Predynastic Race? Where is Temple’s evidence?

Here is Temple’s evidence “The earliest inhabitants of Egypt...are called the Predynastic people [Africans]...[But] Where these people come from is unknown” (Ibid, p. 274). In 1901 [over 113 years ago] Dr. George A. Reisner...laid bare [to reveal or uncover] an early Predynastic cemetery and the human remains were packed and sent to the Medical school in Cairo” (Ibid, p. 276). After Reisner’s full examination of the remains, Temple wrote that,

The predynastic people are seen to have narrow skulls with a height measurement exceeding the breadth, a condition common also in Negroes. [However,] the reverse [emphasis by Imhotep] is the case with the Dynastic Race, who not only had broader skulls...[but] under no circumstances [emphasis by Imhotep] could we consider them to be the same race” (Ibid p. 277).

So, according to Derry, Petrie, Reisner, and Temple, the Dynastic Race was not Negro.
“This could hardly be more explicit...the pyramid builders were of a different race from
the people whose descendants they had hitherto [until now] been supposed to be” (Ibid
p. 277). So if the Dynastic Race was not Negro, what were they?

Let us change gears here, but not direction, for a few minutes and let the previous section sink in for a moment.

Is Temple A Liberal?
Let’s give him a chance. You be the judge. Apparently, Temple believes he is a liberal because of a book he “claims” to have written about Afro-heritage when he traveled to Harlem. Curiously, he failed to list the title however. Temple claims that he

was even greeted as a hero by a black bookseller...Once also in Chicago in 1978 a young black woman came up to me and said the following ‘We black people in the United States have a national secret society with a very restrictive membership, of which no white person is allowed to know the name or any information at all. But we had a special meeting of the council and at which we passed a resolution that we make one exception and only one. We would tell you of our existence without giving you our name and inform you that we all give you deep thanks for what you did for Afro-American pride and our people’...She shook my hand, looked at me earnestly and vanished into a crowd of a large audience at a conference where I was speaking (Ibid, p. 274).

To date, Dr. Imhotep has never heard of this so-called “national secret society,” and
he is 63 years old and a fairly able researcher. What is Temple’s motivation for
this statement? What is he really trying to tell us? What are Temple’s feelings about
race? Even Adolph Hitler was quoted as saying, “I know perfectly well...that in a
scientific since there is no such thing as race” (This quote can be found in the book, Adolph
Hitler (1, pp. 231-232) “How Inconsistencies in Racial Classification Demystify the Race Construct in Public Health
Statistics. Epidemiology, Vol. 10, Number 2, March 1999). Was it not Hitler that believed in and tried to
create a “Master Race” of blue/eyed, blond Scandinavia...even though Hitler himself,
had and black eyes and black hair?

Now let us see what Temple thinks about race. Admirably, Temple asks, “Is there any such thing as race?” (Temple, R. (2011) Egyptian Dawn, p. 275. Arrow Books, United Kingdom). If anyone else had asked the race question, I would applaud them. But why does Temple ask this question? Remember his “chimpanzee remark? There may be a hidden, ulterior motive.

In the 512 pages in this book, Temple dedicates his time trying to prove that a race of white, blue/eyed, blonds were the “Dynastic race.” Who was this Dynastic Race?...This term was originated by Sir Flanders Petrie (Ibid, p. 274) in the early part of the last century. (Note, even though Dr. Imhotep does not believe in the concept of race, we must deal with why and who Temple believes, “The Dynastic Race” was?)

If the reader can remember, Temple wrote that, “predynastic people had narrow skulls
...common to Negroes. The reverse was true for the Dynastic Race...under no
circumstances could we consider them to be the same race” (Ibid p. 277). According to
Petrie, Derry, Emery and Temple, The Dynastic Race were not Negroes. So if the
Dynastic Race was not Negroes, who were they? (Ibid, p. 278). Were they the Master
Race?

The Master Race
Here is a clue that Temple gives us

The first prehistoric race that brought culture to Egypt before the First Dynasty, was Libyan, from the west (Ibid, p. 422)...Libyans and peoples of Northern Europe had a direct connection. He speaks about the prominence in North Africa of what he calls ‘xanthochroids,’ That weird word merely means ‘people of light hair and light skin. Sometimes he comes down to earth and just speaks of them as blonds. We could just say blond White people (Ibid, p. 420).

Temple writes that there were two different cultures in northern Egypt, “‘the nobility and official classes’ were, to judge from their tombs, wholly different from ‘the lower classes’” [emphasis by Dr. Imhotep]. Summing up all the relevant findings, he concludes, “All of this plainly suggests the existence of a master race of superior culture who gradually imposed its burial customs on the conquered indigents’ [emphasis by Dr. Imhotep] (Ibid, p. 278). Do you smell a trace of Hitler here?

Temple’s ideology is based on Flanders Petrie’s thoughts, who wrote a book 130 years ago. Back in 1883 Petrie wrote, The Pyramids and Temples of Gizeh. Believe it or not, even though this data is almost ancient, Temple’s book’s Index has 37 Petrie references. What could be the reason that Temple uses cutting-edge dating on one hand, but then uses dated material whose data that is no longer relevant to academia? Let us read what temple thinks about the Africans in ancient Egypt and see if we can see through the “smoke and mirrors.”

Chimpanzee
Temple makes a racist analogy about these Africans. Let us see what Temple says about the Africans who built the sarcophagus chamber for the last King of the Second Dynasty. The direct quote was, “whose sarcophagus chamber, as I show, was made of such crudely hacked limestone blocks that they look as if they were cut by a chimpanzee” (Ibid, p. 9). Then on page 12, he repeats this insult again using the abbreviated form of chimpanzee, which is “chimp.” The exact quote this time is that European “invaders...quite definitely they had not come from the south...they must have come across the sea [and] could not be the [African] kings of the south who were not able to hack a limestone block any better than a chimp” (Ibid, p. 212).

Out of all of the animals in the animal kingdom, why does Temple chose chimpanzees in his analogy? For those readers who are not from the North American culture of the 20th Century, prejudiced people used to call Black people names of primates such as monkeys, gorillas, orangutans, and yes, chimpanzees. Temple makes it very clear that, “The northern civilization was advanced and the southern civilization was backward. The one was not the successor of the other” (Ibid, p. 212).

Libyans-Who were they?
Let us see what Temple believes
“Libyans and peoples of Northern Europe had a direct connection.” (Ibid, p. 420)
Libyans were described as “anybody who lived west of Egypt all the way to the Atlantic
coast” (Ibid, p.12).
“The first prehistoric race to bring culture to Egypt [therefore Africa] before the First
Dynasty was Libyan from the west” (Ibid, 422).
Temple himself says that, “In fact, I view North Africa, from Morocco to Libya, as being
the home of the megalithic builders” (Ibid, p. 410).
“It will not seem at all strange that, ‘Libyans,’ especially the western ones were to some extent a branch of the ‘megalithic builders civilization’” (Ibid, p. 367).
“It seems inescapable to conclude that the megalithic builders were a people whom
archaeologists and historians vaguely refer to as ‘Proto-Iberians’ [the ancient land
containing Spain and Portugal], and that the Basques of the Pyrenees [mountains], the
Guanches of the Canary Islands, and the Berbers of North Africa are their libyan
and megalithic builders’ blood relatives or descendants” (Ibid, 376).

Oric Bates was the author of The Eastern Libyans, in 1914.

Bates was in no doubt that Libyans and peoples of Northern Europe had a direct connection. He speaks about the prominence in North Africa of what he calls ‘xanthochroids.’ That weird word merely means ‘people with light hair and light skin.’ Sometimes he comes down to earth and just speaks of them as blonds. We could just say blond White people. It has been known for a long time by Egyptologists that there were fair haired and blue-eyes members of the royal family during the Fourth Dynasty. We could just say white people (Ibid, p. 420).

Where is the evidence for that statement? Temple does finally admit that, “there were
Even some Black Pharaohs. The Libyan princesses/queens were pale blond women.
Black Africans came from Upper Egypt (southern Egypt), and below, not from Lower Egypt (the Delta in the north)” (Ibid, 421).

Bates also wrote that, “the xanthochroids were Nordic invaders [into Black Africa.
Nordic refers to people from Scandinavia] as was long ago supposed by Broca and
Faidherbe.” Petrie ponders, and then “Petrie recognizes...and readily admits that the
‘first prehistoric race’ bringing culture to Egypt before the First Dynasty was Libyan, from
the west” (Ibid, p. 422). Temples goes on to say, “This is a direct conformation of the
hypothesis that I am advancing in this chapter. We thus have the authority of Petrie
himself, for what I am proposing about a Libyan (or at least a joint-Libyan) origin for the
first high civilization of Egypt” (Ibid, p. 422). This, however, is a dated theory that is no
longer believed.

So, Temple thought that it was the--Nordic invaders, white, blond, blue/eyed, dynastic, megalithic building--Libyans from Europe who entered Egypt and built their cities for those poor Black Africans whose stone work “looked as if they were cut by a chimpanzee” (Ibid, p. 9). During the Dynastic period we are told that the pyramids and temples were made by these megalithic builders. Then there are the “elusive” Dynastic Race of megalithic, pyramid builders that is Temple’s thesis in this book.

Megalithic/Pyramid Builders
Here are some of the main points Temple uses for these builders “I view North Africa, from Morocco to Libya, as being the true homeland of the of the megalithic builders” (Ibid, p. 410).
“The megalithic builders were the earliest high civilization of the Atlantic coasts... contemporaneous with...[when] the Giza pyramids must have been built” (Ibid, p. 373).
“The fact that the megalithic builders were a maritime culture was recognized early on
by Egyptologist T. Eric Peet...who published a book in 1912...entitled ‘Rough Stone
Monuments,’ which was a ‘general survey of megaliths around the world’” (Ibid, p. 410).
When referring to the area where the megalithic builders lived, Temple said, “it is the megalithic Atlantic coastal settlements, stretching from North Africa to Scandinavia”
(Ibid, p. 370).
“It seems inescapable to conclude that the megalithic builders were a people whom archaeologists and linguist historians vaguely refer to as ‘Proto-Iberians...Libyans, especially the western ones, were to some extent a branch of the megalithic builders” (Ibid, p. 376).
It is obvious that the megalithic builders, whose stone rings were used for astronomical observation purposes, were significantly advanced in astronomy and geometry. Because they were a maritime civilization, they must have been unrivaled navigators, and that may well be where their where knowledge received its original impetus (Ibid, p. 399). They are the mystical stones, and of a medicinal value. The giants of old brought them from the furthest coasts of Africa, and placed them in Ireland while they inhabited that country...the megalithic builders [such as Stonehenge] had come from North Africa themselves (Ibid, p. 380).

We must now report that,

Dr. Archibald Thom, told me [being Temple] that he and his father [Professor Alexander Thom] had been convinced for years that the builders of the rings had a big merchant navy which traded up and down the west coast of Europe... Alexander Thom studied the megalithic remains in the Shetlans Islands [which are a few miles north-east of England, were first settled by short Black men called the Twa/Anu found in a book available soon written by Dr. Imhotep]. It is they who built the megaliths ? They are now being studied] very closely. But his son carried the work even further north, and he surveyed 27 megalithic rings in Sweden (Ibid, p. 381).

“English historian, Geoffrey of Mammoth...[said] We will recall that the megalithic builders were described in Geoffrey as...the ones who brought the stone [astronomical] rings from Africa” (Ibid, p. 404).

The Welsh people are from Whales which is in south-western England, where

The Roman historian Tactius (55 AD--120 AD) wrote in his work Agricola ‘The swarthy complexion and curled hair of the Silures (southern Welsh)...And in another translation ‘the swarthy faces of the Silures, the tendency of their hair to curl, and the fact that Spain lies opposite, all leaves one to believe that Spaniards [African Moors] crossed in ancient times and occupied that part of the country...Modern DNA studies have shown that the Welsh are indeed related to the Basques of Northern Spain” (Ibid, p. 402).

Dr. Duncan Mackenzie, who is perhaps the first authority on megalithic structures of the Mediterranean basin....[was asked] From what direction did megalithic architecture come, and what was its original home?...Mackenzie is inclined to believe in an African origin (Ibid, p. 407).

What characteristics would the ‘pyramid builders’ have to have? They would have needed extraordinary mathematical and geometric knowledge, formidable construction skills on a large scale indeed (the Great Pyramid was the largest standing structure in the world until the nineteenth century AD; it is still the world’s largest stone structure, and its base covers thirteen-and-a half acres of ground), and a very high civilization to sustain all of this (Ibid, p. 104).

[Remember that Temple claimed all of North Africa, from Morocco to Libya, was indeed considered Libya]. Britain was under populated and an unlikely origin for the megalithic builders’ culture. ‘Libya,’ on the other hand, is a highly likely place of origin. We know that Northern Africa was temperate [and fertile] many thousands of years ago, and before the climate deteriorated and desertification ruined the land, creating the deserts, the whole northern part of Africa was a vast savannah teeming in game with a large population (Ibid, p. 400).

Temple says that all these people had to go somewhere when their habitat became intolerable so vast migrations took place. Some settled in the Nile Delta. Others made their way to the sea coasts.

Temple goes on to say, “the civilization which really built the pyramids of Giza...must have been..,.Libyan/megalithic/‘Atlantic derivation” (Ibid, p. 432).

The Evidence

The Race Question
“Derry, Petrie, Reisner, and Temple, [said] the Dynastic Race was not Negro.” But Emery…
((David!! Find & say good things about Emery)) Emery. Walter Bryan Emery (2 July 1902 – 11 March 1971) was a noted British anthropologist, Egyptologist. In 1929 he was appointed Field Director of the Archaeological Survey of Nubia. Emery obtained the Chair of Egyptology at University College London in 1951

In his 1961 book Archaic Egypt Emery writes that modern scholars tend to ignore the possibility that a more advanced community from a yet-to-be-discovered area immigrated to the Nile Valley...[and] he believes that the existence of another culture whose achievements were passed on independently to Egypt and Mesopotamia...this ‘Dynastic Race’ idea has come into disfavor by Egyptologists, seen as a racist idea by robing Egypt, of its heritage, the evidence is that the idea is irrefutable. Where it fails is the Dynastic Race was not indigenous to Egypt. I argue that the Dynastic indeed existed, but that it was indigenous to the Nile Valley [Africans], and that the resurgence of civilization in this region in 3000 BCE is directly attributable to their knowledge, skills and leadership (Malkowsky, E.F. (2006). Before The Pharaohs, p. 2. Bear & Company Rochester, Vermont).

It seems that Emery’s theory was overturned by Temple and too far fetched for even modern Egyptologists who believed the Dynastic Race consisted of indigenous Africans. So at the end of the quote above Emery changed his view about, “a more advanced community from a yet-to-be-discovered area.” That sounded as ridiculous as the excuse that Temple wrote that, “a clear reason why we do not and possibly can never know the details of the civilization...at Sais... because...the original occupation levels...are buried at enormous depths (Temple, p. 432). Is it possible that Temple used the excuse that the evidence of a White Dynastic race lays under the Delta at “enormous depths” because he knows they are to deep to uncover?

Evidence shows that “it is almost certain that a Dynastic Race existed. However this race of robust people comprised Egypt’s original inhabitants, not intruders or invaders. The dynastic people were indigenous Africans (Malkowsky, Ibid, p. 265).

The race question is finally put to bed by Dr. Christopher Stringer. His entire quote was,

Our Human genes tell us all Humans are just geographical variants of the same family. This exposes the ‘myth of race’ that has been used to put one group at the top, and another at the bottom. This has caused so much pain and suffering for centuries. Humans may not look alike, but biologically, we are the same. ‘Australian--a Chinese--a Swede--people worlds apart--are more closely related than two Gorillas from the same forest!’ Our DNA exposes the myth of the Racist Story of Ham; or The Poly-regional Theories; and shows we all originated from the same place. Mother Africa....There’s only one line of Humans to survive in the past million years, and there should be only one name for it...We can trace our ancestry to Africa...we are all more closely related than scientists ever thought before... Under the skin, we are all Africans!!! (Stringer, C. & McKie. (1997). African Exodus, Front cover flap. Henry Holt & Co.)...The real fact is that there is only one evolving human population over the last million years or so, and therefore there should be only one name for it (Ibid, pp. 61-62)

and that name should be, the Human Race.

In a speech in the auditorium of the University of the District of Columbia on 2/8/11, author of the Orion Mystery and Black Genesis, Robert Bauval boldly stated that “I am just a black African turned White!” So we now see that most Black and White scientists and scholars are in agreement that “Race does not exist” (Diop, C.A. (1991). Civilization or Barbarism, p. 17. Lawrence Hill Books Chicago).

African history has been hijacked, not just the text, but pictorially as well. For example, “Cheik Anta Diop wrote that when Ramses II’s mummy was found it was as his [Diop’s] own skin [and Diop’s skin was dark]. However, when Ramses II’s mummy was subjected to gamma rays and his mummy’s skin turned from black to yellow. Before the gamma ray incident, Cheik Anti Diop had done his Melanin Dosage Test on Ramses II’s mummy and was able to verify his skin was black before the gamma ray incident” (Ibid, p. 67). Ramses II was a Black African. His mummy was altered by radiation, “radiation has turned his mummy yellow, before the experiment it was black” (Ibid, p. 67 ). Ramses II's parents Seti I & Queen Sitre can be seen on Giovanni Battista Belzoni’s Illustrative Plate in the Cairo Museum. Belzoni was a well known Italian student of Egyptian antiquities. This plate illustrates them both as a very dark brown color. Genetically, unless Ramses II was an albino, he could only be the color of his parents. Ramses II, unfortunately, is not in any way, the only ancient Egyptian to have been altered.

When the artifacts in question were examined meticulously, I found that the methods used to change or damage the images are varied, and they include subtly altering the shape of the nose on statues by using some type of sanding device; adding on false noses; reshaping or completely destroying the face on temple and tomb walls; lightening the color of the face and body paint on statues and paintings; completely eliminating the paint on statues and paintings and thus making the images appear ‘white;’ destroying the lower facial structure, particularly the chin and jaw area; putting in false bluish-gray inlaid eyes; plastering over temple images with White Portland Cement during ongoing “conservation” work; and creating outright forgeries! Dr. Imhotep will not and cannot make a better case for who the ancient Egyptians were as Cheikh Anta Diop did in his masterful work, The African Origin Of Civilization. Therefore, as the evidence presents itself, by text and pictorial, the “Dynastic Civilization; Megalithic Builders; Pyramid Builders; Libyans;” were Black Africans, not Nordic Europeans. Furthermore, there is no “MASTER RACE” on either side.

To put this “Race Question” to bed permanently we must ponder the following

Cavalli-Sforza wrote that the color differences between the “so-called races … may be attributed to climate” (as cited in Birnbaum, 2001, p. 10). Then Charles Finch M.D., who wrote Echoes of the Old Darkland in 1991 which illustrated how the “so-called” races came to be. He gave a detailed scientific explanation of how these groups of dark-skinned Africans, isolated and imprisoned by the frigid weather of the last Ice Age for thousands of years, lost their color, as illustrated in Gloger’s Law. Gloger’s Law states that the closer an animal approaches the equator, the darker his coat; the closer to the Arctic Circle, the whiter his coat. The polar bear, the arctic fox, the snowshoe rabbit are winterized white-coated Arctic animals that illustrate Gloger’s Law. (Finch, C.S. (1991)Khenti Echoes of the Old Darkland, p.5. Briefly, and with a very simplistic explanation, the very same attribute that protected these Africans from the harmful, strong ultra-violet rays of light in sunny Africa--their melanin-rich dark skin--hurt them in cloudy, cold Europe. Dark skin is superior in hot climates; it keeps the sun’s ultra-violet rays from harming the skin. Light skin is superior in cold climates. In a cold climate, the dark skin pigmentation blocked the small amount of ultra-violet rays that made it through the clouds and northern latitudes of Ice Age Europe. This cut down the amount of Vitamin D production that takes place in human skin. Finch explained that
Vitamin D is absolutely essential for proper bone mineralization, and if deficient, results in the softening of the bones producing rickets in children and osteomalachia in adults … White skin, lacking the melanin barrier, can more efficiently utilize … vitamin D than can Black skin … [so the Black skin] permuted to white skin. (Ibid, p. 32) In this scenario, Vitamin D regulation was the stimulus; albinoidism was the response (Ibid, p. 37).

Cavalli-Sforza et al. (1994) stated that because of this vitamin D deficiency, “the white skin color of Northern Europeans evolved in the last 5000 years from a light-brown color characteristic” (Cavalli-Sforza, L. L., Menozzi, P., and Piazza, A. (1994). The History and Geography of Human Genes, p. 145. Princeton, NJ Princeton University Press). Later, in 2004 Cavalli-Sforza, Menozzi, and Piaza in The History and Geography of Human Genes, agree with Merit researchers Stringer and Jablonski. They basically explained that because of the lack of sunlight, their skin depigmented and changed from dark to very light (Jablonski, N., Chaplin, G. (2004). The overwhelming evidence above illustrates that there is no Master Race.

In the future no modern academic will be remembered - except with shame. All modern academics have made a mess of ancient human history. Who will be remembered? - deep thinkers like Robert Temple.

He finally discovers the real purpose of the Giza complex. Its a mathematical monument to the astral, that is cosmological mind. who but Robert temple could have the original, non-standard academic mind (of genius) to study the ancient and 19th century texts to find what all other researchers have neglected. What unbelievable patience he has shown in all his books. all his books read like a detective story. The subject? the origin of the human mind. What does he find? Our mind is monumented with cosmology - all ignored by modern academics.

Sure he has many rich diversions - but it is the diversions of a brilliant mind who has more to deliver to the world then he can manage at times. He is the only strong author who is able to counter the internet multi-cultural propaganda of Black Africa etc. He discovers that the ancient "Libyans" were a light skinned race (Celtic?) that made the vanished rich monolithic culture that existed from Britain (Stonehenge) down to North Africa, and were the ruling class of ancient Egypt. These "Libyans" were the "race" that built the great monuments of Egypt --- Not the impoverished, starving nomadic subsistence farmers of Nubian extract, etc. The truth is hard to say these days. But Temple finds a powerful way to face the winds of modernist multi-cultural re-writing of Western history.

I have traveled twice to the Giza Plateau to verify his discoveries. I have seen his theories and researches already entered the culture i.e. The interesting new epic poem of a space faring civilization, In My Atom is Ark, Chandos ring - contains many of his conclusions - so his work will live on even in the works of epic poets. Robert temple is the brightest academic light of our generation. Buy all his books and be enlightened about the "real" human past. Just to have his book in my house makes me feel sound and whole as an intellectual. I buy copies for my friends and family - so that tells you everything about this treasure of a man. (and no, I dont know him and he has not paid me to say these things)

Very well researched, but too much information for me. Robert Temple did so much research I was amazed.
Wow! Who would imagine that after hundreds of years of exploration of the Giza plateau, there would be so much still to be discovered? Robert Temple and his wife have done a great service to history, science and exploration with this book. But what a fun book! I have read many books on Egypt and Giza, and yet the author presents new discoveries and amazing observations about aspects of Giza that have never been recognized or written about. Now, this book is not the "final word" on these aspects of Giza (and who could think it would be) but what is exciting is the way the author mixes scientific measurement, fresh observations and ground-breaking interpretations in one volume. This is no dry, academic treatment of dusty facts already chewed over by Phd's. This is exciting, up-to-the-minute adventure and brave theorizing about an ancient and mysterious location. If you have any interest in Egypt and the ancient world, you will enjoy this book.
